Practicing magic had always been a favorite past time for Becca. She was able to use the fire gift she inherited from her mother and make tiny fire animals that often ran around in her hand for fun. Long as the flame did not glow orange, it was safe and would not burn. However, tonight, something was different----

she sat out under the nearly full moon, practicing and smirking as she made a few small animals out of blue fiery flame. A butterfly she had made out of the blue flame fluttered around her and she smirked, reaching out to touch it. Yet as she did, it manifested itself into a bigger form and a spark broke off and turned and floated off into the woods. That was shocking, as Becca had never been able to do so before.

Standing, Becca followed that spark, deeper into the woods. Into parts she had never dared venture before and it was there that spark vanished!

Left in complete darkness, she glanced around, allowing her other senses to take effect and it was then that the smaller fire-butterfly alighted upon her shoulder, causing her to look down before it floated off towards the darker part of the wood. Becca's gaze followed and what she saw, approaching slowly, made her eyes widen and her jaw to drop just a bit.

A magnificent buck, made completely out of her blue fire stepped into the small clearing in which she stood and regarded her. To say she was shocked, was an understatement, as Becca's fire was for fun only, and yet this----buck, seemed entirely 'alive', in a way. It's ears even twitched as it watched her.

Reaching out a slow hand, Becca's eyes remained firmly fixed on the deer that seemed to shimmer and glow right before her. She could see the soft curls of fire wafting off of its fur and as she reached out for it, it bent it's head and for a second touched her hand with it's nose. Before exploding into a tiny rain of sparks!

The fire-butterfly, now smaller in appearance, came back to alight upon her shoulder once more, before it too, sparked out.

Memories were a double edged sword. Able to both bring comfort and cut deeper than any knife all at once. It was one of the many reasons that Becca did not sleep. Not 'normally', like most humans. She got her rest in spurts. Like cat-naps, but on a more deeper level. Any time it was quiet, or relaxed in atmosphere around her, she would fade into this type of trance-like state. Like she was taken lost in thought, for she would fixate her stare upon something and then go completely still. Her eyes unblinking as one part of her brain shut down for the moment or the seconds it was allowed to recharge in that way. Though she might be 'resting', she was still very much aware of her situation and environment. Always hyper-aware even in rest.

Such was a night where sleep was impossible, because of memories. She had tried, and failed to come to deep sleep that would allow her to pass a few hours in Morpheus's embrace of deep sleep. Her mind would not shut off and as she lay in bed, it thought of everything---literally everything without control or filter. Causing Becca distress to the point where even laying still was unmanageable.

Slipping out of bed, she made her way downstairs to enter the living room and made her way to the box window seat that faced out into the forest. Moonlight streaming in from the trees shined its rays into the room at the right angle to cover where she sat in its entirety. Settling down and pulling her knees up to her chest, and wrapping her arms around them, she sighed as she propped her chin on her knees. Eyes staring off into the night as she tried to push her thoughts away and find her center again.

She blinked a few times, to try and clear her eyes of the forbidden tears that tried to fall as she sat unmoving. She would not cry. Not over something that was ages and ages old. Memories that she kept locked away for a reason. "Go away....." Her voice whispered softly to herself. So soft it was almost unheard. "Go away...." She let out a soft, shuddering sigh as she hugged her knees tighter and curled up upon herself more. Tonight----would be another sleepless night. Plagued by things she longed to forget, and yet couldn't.

Magic was a rare gift that only bloomed rare souls. Elves were naturally gifted in certain types of magic, depending on their bloodlines would determine what type of magic they would, perchance, be able to do.

Elrond, Becca's father, was in line of the Eldar. Which meant, he and his twin brother, who chose the path of a mortal, were descended from their Gods--or so goes the stories. As such, Elrond's power was untapped, even at the age of 6000.

Elenna, Becca's mother, was a hybrid. A mixture of elf and demon, for her mother, Becca's grandmother had gotten mixed up in a deal with a demon or some such thing---as the stories go. Hence Elenna had gifts that no mere elf should have and in turn, passed them down to Becca.

Becca was the only one of her kind after her mother died, and was left, at a young age (far as elves are concerned), learning how to control not only her wolf shifts but her magic as well.

Fate, however, was a cruel Master, or a good friend depending on how you looked at it; for some of the magic she possessed and knew she could do, worked only when IT wanted to. In order to keep Becca from becoming to powerful, Fate hindered her healing abilities. So she taught herself how to heal the human way. Using medicine and herbs and the things that the Earth gives. Yet, sometimes, when in dire need, that gift will flare up and heal when it is most needful, but it is not something she can control.

It can be maddening at times. To know that you can do something and yet not have it work when you want it too. But life, is a forever learning phase...if she can not do something one way, she will learn how to do it another.

~Excerpt from my Solo I am working on~

"Don't you see? If you want the things that you crave---so desperately, you MUST find a way to make them happen. Simply wishing your life had been different or wishing it away, and you lose all you have gained---and all you have given to others who have met you. Strange, isn't it? How one life can touch so many others without realizing it? See what a waste it is---to throw it away? To wish it was different?"

// Was curious about one side of Becca's story that I never wrote out because her backstory went an entirely different direction.

What if, Becca's mother, Elenna, never ran away to have her? True, her and Elrond were promised to different people when they were younger and eventually married those people (least he did), but their love was pure from the beginning. What if, when finding she was pregnant before they both married who they were supposed to, and she didn't leave to prevent causing a scandal, that Elenna gave birth to Becca within the land of her ancestors? Where Becca would not have been sold as a slave to Masters who taught her unspeakable things or did cruel and terrible things to her? Where she was actually raised as the Princess she is...whether she admits it or not?

How very different she might have turned out. It's an interesting idea. Been thinking of writing something out along those lines, once I get all the ideas straight in my head. Who would write it out with me? Can take place in any verse and multiple threads if desired.

// OPEN RP...ANY CAN JOIN!! WRITTEN AGES AGO BUT LIKED THE STARTER

her early morning run started off well enough. A crisp clear morning, with hardly a bite in the air, the forest around her echoed with bird song and smells of other animals. She went for a good long run, and then getting a drink at the lake nearby, turned for home. She was checking her boundaries, when her fur went puffy suddenly as she entered a small clearing. Something was wrong! She sniffed the air but couldn't smell anything out of the ordinary, yet even the birds had suddenly gone quiet. Her ears twisted and turned, trying to locate any sound, but she heard nothing. Taking a few tentative steps forward, she heard the snap of the spring and jumped clear of the net that swooshed up beside her! Her hackles raised as human voices shouted all around her, baring her fangs as one by one, they came out of the forest, surrounding her.

They rattled chains at her, some had clubs a few even had nets which they shook, trying to keep her attention divided.

"Here wolf!" "No, here wolf!" "Don't let it get away!" "I want the skin!", "Holy shit, that wolf is huge, take it down!"

They were planning on killing her! Enraged, she drew back, snarling and snapping at the pokes from the clubs and pitchforks. She turned one way, then another, lashing out as first one distracted her, and then another. She couldn't flee, they surrounded her, Hurting her! Her forepaw caught a man across the chest, another she lashed out at as he bent forward to poke her and grabbed him by his shirt and threw him! Seeing a break in the men, she put her ears back against her head and darted away! Keeping to the underbrush. "Don't you let that animal get away!", "Kill it!" Shouts followed her as she ran, till they faded away completely.

Only when she was safe in her hidden cave, did she stop to rest. Her side hurt. turning her head, she saw she was bleeding, and she reached to lick at her wound, whining softly. She would heal up soon as she changed back, and she did so, curling up behind a rock, trying not to let Hate and Rage rule her. Silent tears drifted down her cheek unbidden as she stared out into the afternoons light. She waited, giving the humans a few hours to clear out before she began her way towards home again. Her running, for a while, was at an end it seemed. She would fight for her home, and kill any who tried to stop her!

// 11 years today. It still HURTS and I miss you more than anything. But I keep your memory alive by remembering the times we had together. I even gave Rhett your middle name. I know one day, I will see you again, but I miss you, so so so---MUCH! I try, each and every day to live the life I know you would want me too. To live for my kids and to make each day count. Even when the pain gets to be to much, I focus on them and those there for me who I know still share this pain with me. You were/are someone incredibly special!  I love you, Ed! Always and forever!

I know it's a bad idea

But how can I help myself?

Been inside for most this year

And I thought a few drinks, they might help

It's been a while, my dear

Dealing with the cards life dealt

I'm still holding back these tears

While my friends are somewhere else

I pictured this year a little bit different

When it hit February

I step in the bar, it hit me so hard

Oh, how can it be this heavy?

Every song reminds me you're gone

And I feel the lump form in my throat

'Cause I'm here alone

Just dancing with my eyes closed

'Cause everywhere I look I still see you

And time is moving so slow

And I don't know what else that I can do

So I'll keep dancing with my

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

Eye-eye-eye-eyes closed

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

So I'll keep dancing with my

Delusion is here again

And I think you'll come home soon

A word brings me right back in

Then it's only me that's in this room

I guess I could just pretend

The colours are more than blue

But I lost more than my friend

I can't help but missing you

I pictured this month a little bit different

No one is ever ready

And when it unfolds, you get in a hole

Oh, how can it be this heavy?

Everything changes, nothing's the same

Except the truth is now you're gone

And life just goes on

So I'm dancing with my eyes closed

'Cause everywhere I look I still see you

And time is moving so slow

And I don't know what else that I can do

So I'll keep dancing with my

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

Eye-eye-eye-eyes closed

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

So I'll keep dancing with my

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

Eye-eye-eye-eyes closed

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

Oh, I keep dancing with my

They're shutting the bar

They're cleaning the floor

And everyone is already home

But I'm on my own

Still dancing with my eyes closed

'Cause everywhere I look I still see you

Time is moving so slow

And I don't know what else that I can do

So I'll keep dancing with my

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

Eye-eye-eye-eyes closed

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

Oh, I keep dancing with my

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

Eye-eye-eye-eyes closed

Eye-eye-eye-eyes

Oh, I keep dancing with my

Allya's inner monologue from when she was younger

'What I wanted....more than anything in the world...was to shift to wolf. Like my family. I would be a powerful force to be reckoned with. I would be swift and agile as any wolf. I would decimate my foes swiftly and surely....but alas, such was not my fate. So I am all these things and more, in my human skin....but inside, my wolf spirit growls.'

~Allya's inner monologue from when she was younger~

Becca could feel the chill in thr air. December was fast on its way and with it came cold, snow and Christmas! She adored the holiday but nothing excited her more then to go out and search for the perfect Christmas tree!

Her woods were full of them and though there were many, she knew she would find just the right one when she saw it. It had to be tall! At least 6 foot, and bushy and full. Not scraggly or missing branches. It had to have a distinct smell of pine, no rot or mold upon it and it had to be..well...perfect!

Her blood warmed in excitement as she bundled up and heading towards the shed out back of her house, prepped and sharpened her axe, hauled out a large sled with with to haul her tree back on, fastening the picnic lunch she had packed for herself, she headed into the forest. In search of just the right tree!!

Pain. That is all that I feel. All that I know. When the night is dark and silent, they whisper to me. The Ghosts of my past. Of my darkness. Of things I have done that I am not proud. In them, I see myself. In their echoing voices, I hear my own silent screams. In their writhing, tortured bodies, their dark shattered souls, I see bits and pieces of who I used to be. Who I fear that I will one day become again. It is hard, being unable to explain any of this to those that I love. To let someone in that deep to see the scars that are not able to be seen with the eyes. Or felt with a touch of a hand. For this is not something measured in time, distance, or with the senses. Only felt. Only experienced through the course of ones path. A path, that was not chosen for me.

So, when the night is silent, and I am alone....it is hard to shut them out. I no longer fight them, but let them come. They are a part of me, my past; and I am a part of them and always will be. Why is it so hard to accept this? All my anger, rage and hate? For the past, for what I was forced to become? Why do I hide it and let it torment me in other ways? The Beast, I now know is but a shade of all that passionate darkness within me. Though I now 'master' control over it, how long before it takes back over? How long before the 'leash' snaps and I sink back into that darkness? How do I stop it? Why can I admit my faults in the dark of night, but when daylight comes, I hide them again? What is it I am running from? Am I afraid of? Truly? Who is there, to help me on my path?

A monster knows no love...as the great poets say, and yet I can tell you from the bottom of my heart, that that is NOT true! I LOVE! I FEEL~ I YEARN~ Am I so monstrous that I will be forever denied such a thing? I hope not! I know that isn't true! For I AM loved....

But still, ghosts are hard to ignore when they visit in the night, and you can do nothing but let them come.....and....remember......

She was a beauty who never wanted the prince... she always wanted the beast.

- N. R. Hart

YES! THIS....RIGHT HERE!!!

Keep all your 'knights in shining armor' BS! Give me a Viking! A man not afraid to get dirty, whether in work or in love. Who is wild, passionate, and fiercely protective and loyal.Who is not afraid to fight for what/whom they love, for what they desire. I don't want 'clean armor', or a white horse....I want a Vampire in the darkness, a Viking in bloody chain mail, a Werewolf under the full moon!! I want the odd, the different, the unusual and the strange!!! Embrace your differences, for they are what make you BEAUTIFUL!!!

Allya and Telekenesis

// So while rereading older then dirt solos I had written out, I had forgotten that Allya was an 'unaware' psychokinetic or telekinetic. Meaning, in a old rp solo I had written, she had had a horrible nightmare about fire, and somehow, her curtains suddenly caught fire in her room and she awoke to it and had to have help putting it out. And once, when Rheagal made her mad and she yelled at him, something behind him that was glass, shattered rather forcefully.

She is unaware because it happens so random, and she hasn't had any training in it,  but it could help explain a few things about her. Why she can 'talk' to and be understood by animals, how she can hear Daemon so easily (Though she firmly believes it is solely because of how close they are and she can not hear any other humans.) and why somethings happen around her that at times, she just can't explain. Things moving or disappearing entirely, things breaking when she's angry, stuff like that.

thought that would be something cool to explore down the line in more detail.

// SOLO...because I can't sleep...had a rough day and found good music that inspired this....

It was so bright! The light stung her eyes making it harder to see. The sounds were damn near deafening as artists from all over had gathered to celebrate. There were so many sounds, smells, sights to behold that she didn't know where to look first as she was led out into the bright sunlight from behind a curtain where she had been instructed to wait. She wasn't really sure what was going on, but all around her was chaos. All was delight and merrymaking as well as sounds of a tourney coming from two places over, the people's cheers able to be heard even at that distance.

Suddenly, she was moving. Walking, head held high down a small pathway through the chaos. She had no moment to wonder about what was happening or where she was going, just that she had to reach the peak of the path without making a misstep. Why and how she knew this, she had no idea. But she could feel the tension wash away from her the more she walked. Feel her body slowly begin to relax the further down the path she got. People were cheering, throwing flowers at her feet, all around her people bestowed blessings...and she had no earthly idea why. The dress she wore was nicely made. To nice for something that she would own herself or ever be able to afford. It was dark red, inlaid with sapphires and emeralds along the hemline and the sleeves. Her hair done up fashionably in a style, she had never worn before either. Why?

As she drew closer to the end of the path, she saw before her a chair, empty. No, not a chair, a throne! Beside it sat Morgul, huge and monstrous in his size as he now was full height for his species. When had THAT happened!? She looked around her slowly, feeling her heartbeat picking back up. This had to be a mistake! She didn't belong on any throne. Didn't want it! But she found herself as if pulled towards it, and upon reaching it, found herself turning to face the crowd as if nothing she did was her own choice. the harder she fought against such things, the more the power forcing her to move made her do so. it actually hurt, to struggle against it and soon she found herself sitting upon that throne, Morgul roaring at her side as his wings spread, demanding in a way for everyone to pay reverence to her and the crowd did as bid. All cheered, all praised her name...but...something wasn't right. This was so wrong. This wasn't what she aspired too. What was happening!!

She watched as a Maester came closer with a smaller crown and she visibly shook her head, but even that small movement hurt. No! No! No! Not her! This wasn't right! She wasn't a ruler! She didn't rule...not alone! It wasn't her birthright! Closer and closer that crown got, and she struggled to speak, to say SOMETHING, but nothing escaped her. Why was she here? Why was she here alone? Daemon! Where was Daemon? Where was someone to STOP this from happening! She didn't want it! Not at the expense of those she loved. Not for any reason. No! Please...STOP!!!

Sitting up with a hoarse cry of "STOP!' upon her lips, the thunder crashed as lighting flashed around the castle of Driftmark. Gasps echoed from her lips as she realized, to her relief that it was solely a dream. Only a dream. Pulling the blankets more firmly around her, she settled back in bed, trying to calm her heartbeat. What could that dream have meant? Why would she have it at all? She was safe though. Still on Driftmark, her wounds all but healed. Morgul safe and growing bigger every day. Daemon safe as well, for she could sense him still. That little light flickering within her mind as she focused on him. Thank the Gods all was well. But...why the dream? She had no such intentions. No desires for it either. Curling back up on her side, she sighed deeply and staring at the fire, tried to lull herself back to sleep. Listening to the storm as it howled outside her window.

Armand had finally ceased his tears, sniffing as he held onto Marius for dear life. He refused to believe the words that Aemond had so callously thrown at him, with his disgusting 'gift' as proof. It wasn't true! Laenor was still alive...he would know if it were otherwise, right?

That thought brought him pause as he pulled slowly back from Maruis and wiped his eyes. "Allya...." He uttered her name like a prayer. A hope. His eyes glazed a bit in thought before he cast his eyes to the man at his side once more and then he turned and dashed back the way he had come, towards home! Allya would know! For sure, he was certain! That was all he could think about. All he could hope for. Allya would know!

The second he reached home, he burst through the door and went to his sister's side, taking hold of her arms tightly as he all but gasped out what it was he wanted from her. "Allya! You would know if something had happened to Laenor, wouldn't you?" He questioned with such feveor. "With your...gift?"

Allya looked startled as she turned to look at her younger brother as he grabbed her and blinked in surprise. "Whatever do you mean, Armand?" She asked softly, calmly. "I can't do human, you know this. I can't hear their thoughts."

"You do Daemon! You hear HIS thoughts" He shot back at her in earnest.

"That is DIFFERENT!" She said, with a slight warning tone to her voice as his grip had become quite strong. "You know it. Now let go." She said and sighed as Armand released her and backed away, looking all the more sad. "Look...Armand, I think Aemond was just being mean to you." She said gently as she held out her hand to show her brother what she held within, what she had found. The severed finger Aemond had thrown at Armand and jested that his lover was dead. "Scent it, Brother....it does not smell like anyone we know..." She said gently.

Taking the finger with a grimace, Armand allowed the scent to waft through his nose and over his tongue. It was not Laenor's, for which he was most thankful and nearly cried again, till he realized what had actually happened. He turned and cast the appendage into the fire with a soft snarl. "That----that---!" He couldn't think of any words good enough to call him! He had played with his emotions, had riled him, it was a horrible thing to do, even if it had been a joke. He felt anger rise up in him again, but he attempted to squash it. Laenor was alive, it wasn't him....that was all that mattered....but his wolf had very nearly been called without his permission. He felt ashamed for reacting in such a way. He was better than that...

Malachai Swan ➡ Rebecca Butler

"The cunning warrior attacks neither the body or the mind...."

Those words had stuck with him all his life as he folded the item carefully in the cloth. How would see respond to knowing this truth about him so many years ago. It was not time to unveil that to her and see the truth behind her heart.

Getting up early in the morning he sets out coffee for her and tea for himself, then waits patiently for her to wake and search him out, he knew it would not take her long to find him. Hearing her light foot steps finally he calls out without turning as he sits on the couch, holding the carefully covered package in his lap. "I am over here Rebecca Butler I made you some coffee, please have some and come next to me please I have something to give you and tell you."

The dawn found her slowly slipping into awakening and when she stretched, she noticed Malachai wasn't beside her. Sitting up, she ran her fingers through her hair as she slid out of bed, putting on a robe and closing it around her as she went into the kitchen and pouring her some coffee. "Thanks hun. Smells good." She replied as she walked into the living room and walked over to him, sitting beside him. "What's going on hun?" She asked, curious as to what he had to tell her.

Feeling her sitting next to me I take a deep breath while holding the item that is covered on my lap. "I have something to give you and after you open this you might be on a little shock." He gently picks up the item and places it on her lap.

She looked down at the package he sat in her lap and her eyes furrowed. Slowly opening it, her eyes went wide and she actually paled at seeing what it was. "Why....would you give me this?" She asked softly. Trying hard not to be both angry or nervous. Waiting to see why he would give her such a thing.

"the cunning warrior attacks neither the body or the mind." He let those words echo out a moment before speaking again. "Those words you should remember am I correct.?" Turning to her I look down at the whip and back up to her. "It was me all those years ago that stopped him, and that was what I carried ever since that day." He closes his eyes and breathes deep. "I wanted to give you that so you would know everything."

Her eyes went wide at hearing the phrase and for a moment, she very nearly freaked out! Panic gripped her chest as she was taken back for a split second to that moment in time and she found it hard to breathe. Until she heard Malachai's words and looked at him. "You....you stopped that Master?" She asked, breathless. "I thought....he just stopped cause he was tired....or was done with me..." She trailed off, not knowing what to think.

"Yes that is correct it was me all those years ago, no he was taught a true lesson. I couldn't tell you until now because of alot of things that was goin on and now I have a reason to tell you, I have to protect you after all because I love you." He places his hand gently on her lap.

She looked up at him, her eyes a bit wide at hearing his admission. He....loved her? Really? After all this time. Why would he wait till now, when they had known each other for years? Surely he had to have known about her affection for him. Her desire. It took her a few moments to try and figure out what he was saying as she bit her lip and looked at him. "You love me?" She asked, ever so softly. "You protected me? All those years ago?" She sighed softly as a small smile crossed her face. "Mal...after all these years.....I thought you knew...I love you too...."

"Something's you have to let run it's course before other things could be said. I was a different person back then, not the same person as I am now, as for why I couldn't say anything, well you know my secret that's why and until lately I was bound to be unable to say anything, well that's different now." Talking a deep breath before looking down at the whip. " Yeah it has been a wild ride and if I things have gone sooner back then you would not be who you are now, and you are stronger cause of it."

"I am...stronger because of my past, and I wouldn't change it for anything. Even though parts of it still give me nightmares." She said softly. "But...You'll be there, won't you? When they come?" She asked, all but asking him to stay with her. And not just for that. They had known each other for years at this point, and she never thought of him as evil or a monster, even though she knew now what he meant when he said it. She wanted him to be a part of her life, and her a part of his.

Nods my head and reaches over to pull you closer. "As long as you allow me to be I will be here, that is also why I told you what I had to tell you today, so now you can be mine and I yours" leans over and kisses you gently on the cheek.

She smiled faintly at him as he kissed her cheek and pulled her closer. She settled against him and kissed him back. "I want you...with me...forever." Her words soft, yet she meant them. every single one of them.

Allya: Where It Ends

 ~ALLYA~

Read the lyrics...carefully. She's had her heart broken once, badly...in the worst way and it's a scar she carries but she refuses to show it. (probably why she comes off as a flirt and always happy all the time)

Allya: I See Red

Cause's she my dangerous little badass! *giggles* She'd do something like this too.....

Roose Bolton | Lydia RP

 Name. Roose Bolton

Family. Ramsay Bolton, Bastard son.

Books and Shows. Main storyline. Game Of Thrones. Though with how I play him he could fall anywhere on the timeline. MUWAHAHA

High Muse

"Something troubling you, My Lord?" The dark haired maiden came closer from his side and just behind, having seen him in a state of contemplation.

Syria wasn't as well known as they rest of her....family, but she was a curious sort of person and often wandered about the roads and hills of this new place alone. She having learned much about those that lived or ruled nearby and had come to seek a space in the Bolton's household...for a time. Who else to better stumble upon to ask such a request, than the Lord, himself?

"Forgive me. You seemed deep in thought. Was there anything I might help you with?"

The idiot! In all honesty it took a good deal of patience and biting his own tongue not to grow quick to anger with the young fool! His methods were questionable! He clearly had not the stomach for war yet thought himself a leader! Staring across the field that was still soaked of blood despite many of the carts having left Roose had only become aware of the female once she'd spoken. Mainly because he merely suspected the soft footsteps to be one of many healers and morticians out seeing to the dead and injured. His gaze shifted towards her finally, his expression null of much more than frustration and he seemed to eye her for a moment before letting out a sigh.

"Nothing that can be helped. No offense" He finally informed her before giving the field one last glance, his eyes moving back to where she stood. Not another word was spoken as he still assumed she was one of the healers who'd strayed to check on him. She wouldn't have been the first and he was soon heading back for where he'd left one of his men and their horses.

Syria had nodded at the Lord's words but was unsure exactly how to proceed. She was a healer, but most would not be content with her version of healing...nor likely to survive it. Being she wasn't human and her people's way of healing....well...lets just say water was involved and when one could not breathe under it...well...you get the idea. Or fire for that matter. Still, she had paid somewhat of attention when Becca and Allya had been sent to heal or to help and was sure she could at least give comfort to those who needed it if not heal them. For her empathy was more where her power lay.

Pausing only a moment, she turned quickly upon her heel and walked after Roose. Calling out again. "My Lord...a moment please?" She asked as she caught up to him and offered a small smile.

"I had heard that you were looking for help. About your Keep and the stables? I have come to see if that were true." She tried not to blush for she wasn't very good with dealing with people. "I might not look like much, but I am strong and will work hard if there is a job to be done. Have you any positions open?" She inquired.

Oh absolute hell! Could he not get even a moments peace or in the least make it back to camp without such bothersome shit! Still he merely shared a look with his man who sat in wait before slowly turning, back towards her with a raised eyebrow as she merely began rambling. How has she managed to track him down!? Here!? Well, perhaps it wasn't uncommon knowledge who he traveled with and if she'd briefly seen them she could have hung around long enough to seek him out. Seemed likely enough so he didn't questioned it.

"I have two several. Though I'd prefer to have someone to tend to the war horses as I believe for now it's a bit quiet up north. Most of the horses are with us..." He replied all to bluntly nodding to the distance where the thick trees just managed to shroud their camp. Though for the most part there was still soldiers coming and going from that area so it was obvious where it was.

"However, I will not lie to you. I had hoped to find a boy for both you understand?" He informed her making sure she understood that was she was asking was honestly a bit far fetched. Uncommon to say the least however, he was also in need of ... Someone else. Someone he could trust however and to do that he would need to give her and a few of his other men and servants awhile in service before he chose for that. "Do you have any experience? I might be convinced to overlook your other, qualifications if that be the case" He finally decided after a brief moment of quick thought. Frankly, her being around would certainly help his men should she actually know what she was doing. Less work to do when they need be resting and preparing to travel and keep on the move.

Hearing of his answer and then the following words, Syria attempted not to look affronted at not being exactly what was expected. Everyone was always looking for a boy or a man to do the work needed. As if the idea of a capable woman able to handle the same job was an unheard of idea. But she kept such thoughts off her face and out of her eyes as she nodded at his question.

"I do. Have experience with horses, Sir. War horses in particular."

It wasn't a total lie. She had worked with Allya in the same King's stables before for many, many years. Learning as she went. And while she couldn't 'talk' to them like Allya could, she could no less interpret their moods and desires and see what needed to be done, done.

"I used to work in a King's stables. For many years. I learned much under his head grooms tutelage." The fact that that 'groom' had been a woman, she left out as well.

A rather impressed look crossed his face for a moment. He'd half expected her to claim she'd had horses and somehow that made her knowledgeable. Still, it was pleasantly surprising. "Well, then forgive me for my quick judgements. I will offer you work, on a trial bases" He replied, making sure to note his mind could still change should she prove to be less than what she described or for whatever reason she wasn't a good fit. Women could be hard to have for long out here, whether it be the harsh weather or traveling or even the men causing her issues or vice versa. So he had to still be a bit leery to the idea if anything for her sake.

"I'll need you to start at your earliest convenience. Should you need to fetch your things do so, and meet me at my tent by tonight at the latest" He informed her, not bothering to waste anytime caring for whether she had questions as he could deal with that at a later time. Instead he was already turning and moving to mount his horse, taking the reigns from his man before his eyes went to her once more as if to make sure she was in agreement. She'd certainly seemed desperate enough with how she'd found him.

Ramsay | Lydia RP

Rheagal was panting by this time. Sweat dripped down his face and into his eyes as well as blood. He could taste it in his mouth, causing him to spit from surely a busted lip or even a few broken teeth. What had started as a simple sparring of words had turned into something much more...darker, in a way than even he realized.

The younger man he was facing might not look like much but he packed one hell of a hit and moved faster then even he could at times. And he was DAMNED good with his chosen daggers, as evidenced by the blood that flowed from his shoulders where he had stuck Rheagal. Nothing deep, but the warning was clearly there. Even if Rheagal had scarred him up as well, it looked like this man could go much longer than he could and that enraged him.

Was he not the best fighter in his homeland?! How had this all gone wrong!

Clearly, the younger male was insane, for who smirked as much as he did while bleeding! Honestly! Who taunted and baited as much as he did as well. Rheagal learning early on not to fall for it, but still, the male was swift. One of them would soon have to yield!

Ramsay let out a laugh watching Rheagal seemingly attempting to gather himself again. "Oh my apologies.... Did that hurt? It looked like it hurt! Shall I kiss it better for you?" He mocked the other male with ease, enjoying despite Rheagal trying so desperately not to show it how angry and hurt he was currently. Unlikely to stop as well especially given that Ramsay had challenged him to on multiple occasions now. "Truly, perhaps you should just.... Give up. Save us both wasted time in proving just how foolish and unskilled you are" He added now seeming to relax a bit, merely gesturing with his own blade as he smirked towards the other.

Only a soft, echoing growl escaped the boys throat at Ramsay's taunting. This was ridiculous! How could something so bulky, move so fast! "No. Didn't hurt. You hit like a girl!" He threw back at him, spitting blood in his direction. "Allya...could fight better than you." Though he stood back up and squared his shoulders, ready for another round. He knew better than to just charge in now. Stupidest move he had ever made in the beginning.

Ramsay snickered all to obnoxiously "That so? You know speaking of ... Does she fancy hunting? Seems like she'd make for exhalent fun!" He mused slowly pacing, his eyes seeming to look off towards where he had seen the female and their mother head off not long ago. Well, long enough that no one had been there to prevent this from where it currently was. Women! Such pains really! When all he wanted was to have a little fun!

"I dare say, she might even stand a chance at playing the rabbit" He suddenly added just so that being as Rheagal had clearly gotten looks and bronze but lacked brains.... Least it would sink into that thick ass skull and likely only infuriate him more than anything he'd said so far. Looking up finally Ramsay snickered wickedly.

Rheagal had gone all but very still at Ramsay's words and switched hands with his dagger and growled. "You think of touching my sister in any way, and you won't have to worry about what a failure your father thinks you are to him!" He taunted back. Not exactly his best, but he knew the looks shared between father and son had at best. Not very good ones at times and so prayed on that aspect of it.

"My sister's more wolf than you'll EVER be!" He hissed, but knowing not to run right at the bat shit crazy man!

He did however pace a bit, circling the man as they seemed to move about in a slow dance together. His eyes always on Ramsay. Waiting for him to seem to think about making a move. Now it was getting personal and Rheagal couldn't let that go!

"You think yourself clever?" He remarked as he continued to smirk despite the others desperate attempt at insult. All he'd done was state facts that everyone knew! Some jester if a duck reminding him if such did little to make him more upset than he'd been his whole life over those facts!

"Scared? You look scared" Ramsay whispered as he side stepped but drew just close enough to be threatening. Dagger gripped tightly within his palm as his eyes locked with Rheagals now. A sort of amused look still dancing in those deep blue hues before rather suddenly he went simply slamming Rheagal with his upper body, hard enough both were soon landing in the dirt.

Rheagal saw it, before Ramsay decided to move but was to slow. Of course! The wiry man slammed into him, sending them both to the dirt! He struggled a bit, trying to keep the man's daggers from finding him while trying to have his weapons find the others skin! Ramsay was strong though! Was it crazed rage that fueled him? What the HELL!

Giving a loud growl, Rheagal rolled just enough and was able to shove Ramsay off him with a kick of his legs. Only to pounce at the man with a swipe of his dagger, and smirked a bit when he found flesh and darted back again. Crouching, eyes wide as his senses raised as his wolf came to peek out behind his eyes.

"This is getting foolish!" He hissed softly.

As the dagger caught his inner arm Ramsay suddenly let out a yelp. Rolling a bit as if to get away from Rheagal his breath had suddenly quickened a considerable amount. "Fuck .." he hissed. His expression had gone from that amused and mostly crazed looked to a bit shook, teeth biting into his own lip he let out a whimper in pain. Not a very great spot to get even nicked and it had certainly surpassed that. Blood pooling through his fingers and dripping down his arm from where he was holding it. Eyes closing for a moment he finally nodded, as if in agreement. "I .. feel... Faint... " He whispered, his free hand moving from the wound extending towards Rheagal as if asking for his help in standing. Franky, he could have just been over exaggerating but he still looked a bit pale.
