The day dawned slowly, and she had been up since before sunup. Unable to sleep, she silently stole her way down into the lower halls of her home. Into a smaller room just off the main hallway, a room used for music among other things. She sat herself at the piano, cracked her fingers and then, softly at first, began to play. She was much better at the violin then the piano, but her ear could decipher any music with just a few times of listening to it.It was one of her greater joys, music. For it gave outlet to emotions she would rather hold in. The song she played was one of her favorites, she had learned it years ago. She kept the tune soft, but anyone who happened by would hear. Everyone was still asleep, or just waking, so she thought it safe to play for a bit.*

*It had been an interesting day, so she had set out into the woods with her violin. She needed to relax a bit and wanted to play a bit as well. She knew she had to be careful now, leaving the gates, but she would only be gone a few minuets. Finding the perfect spot, just outside the gates of Rivendell, she stopped, closed her eyes and listened to the sounds around her. She then put bow to string and began to play, listening to nature as she did so.*
